Vegan Friendly Chocolate Banana Ice Cream Recipe

 3 overripe frozen bananas
 1 pinch salt
 ¼ tsp vanilla extract
 3 tsp cocoa powder
milk (as needed)Depending on the power of your blender, you may want to add a tiny amount of your preferred milk or another liquid, such as coconut water or pineapple juice, to aid in the mixing process. If you are a vegan you can use non-dairy milks.

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream Directions

1

Peel and cut ripe bananas into small pieces. Freeze in a freezer bag or container. This may be done months ahead of time, eliminating the need to wait until you're ready to produce the ice cream.

2

Toss roughly three bananas' worth of frozen bits into a food processor or blender. If you aren't using a high-powered blender, or if your bananas are frozen solid, add a few tablespoons of liquid.

3

Blend until completely smooth. You want a nice soft-serve ice cream texture and firmness.

4

Eat immediately as soft serve, or freeze for around thirty minutes for a firmer texture, then scoop out with an ice cream scoop.
