Who doesn’t like lemon pepper? Well this recipe is sure to change your mind even if you do. This is a quick and simple recipe that can serve as a healthy and nutritious snack or a finishing seasoning on any just about any dish.

Roasted Lemon Pepper with Hemp Hearts Ingredients

 1 cup Hemp&fork Hemp Hearts
 1 tbsp Lemon zest
 ½ tsp Pink Sea Salt
 ½ tsp Black Pepper

Roasted Lemon Pepper with Hemp Hearts (seeds) Directions

Heat a cast iron frying pan or medium/large sauce pan (ungreased/unoiled) on medium heat.

Add 1 cup of Hemp&fork Hemp Hearts and spread evenly using a wooden spoon. Cook for 3 mins and stir often.

Add pink sea salt, black pepper and lemon zest and cook an addition 2-3 mins stirring frequently. Hemp hearts will turn light to dark brown in appearance. Cook to the desired darkness and remove from heat.

Serve immediately for best taste. Try them as a snack or sprinkle on top of your favorite dish.

If not consuming immediately, allow the hemp hearts to cool for 1-2 mins and transfer to a recycled/reused seasoning container or mason jar. Store in a cool dark place. Refrigerate for extended shelf life.
